When I take on new clients I constantly hear the same things over and over again. How they've tried multiple diets and workouts, but can't seem to get the results they desire.
"I'VE DONE SO MANY 30 DAY-CHALLENGES STILL NO ABS WTF!!!"
They've spent hundreds even thousands of dollars trying different supplements, shakes and fads to hopefully get closer to their dream body.
"MAYBE THESE NEW SUPERFOODS BLENDED SHAKES THAT TASTE LIKE LIQUID TRASH WILL GET ME THINNER IN NO TIME, OH AND CAN'T EAT THE FOODS I LOVE FOR 26 WEEKS"
Hours wasted in the gym throwing weights around without even knowing why, constantly reading about workouts that are too advanced or they simply don't know how to complete. Sometimes they just don't want to go to the gym.
"OK SO WE'RE DOING 437 CRUNCHES AND PLANKING FOR 2-HRS 7 DAYS A WEEK, YESSS ABS HERE I COME"
They tell me how they spend hours shuffling through their wardrobes, looking for something that hides the love handles. The fact they lack energy and get puffed out simply by walking up the stairs is a major concern.
"OK SO THIS IS THE YEAR OF BAGGY TOPS AND JEANS RIGHT??, ACTUALLY I MIGHT CANCEL CBF GOING"
It frustrates them trying to decipher scientific formulas in order to get an understanding of whats healthy food.
"OK SO E=MC2 x 2.163 SHOULD GIVE ME PROTEIN, NOW UMM CAN I HAVE THIS HOME COOKED ROAST OR NOT??"
Should it really be this hard?
